Bridget stalked down the street, her bright red hair covering her face. Pushing the strands away, she dropped the flyers she was carrying. She pretended not to notice. Instead, she marched into the tack shop, spying the bulletin board on the wall immediately. Sighing, she went up to it. There were a few other advertisements for horses for sale there, and she could have sworn she heard two other people discussing selling a filly over by the saddles. Bridget sighed. This was cruel. Bridget had been July's groom since she was a yearling, and the two had a great bond. And now, after spending an agonizing year with a horrible trainer, the Standardbred mare was being sold. And Bridget had been saddled with putting up ads all about town. Tacking up a flyer, her eyes scanned over it.
It said... -------------------------------------------------------
show name, July's Summer Breeze barn name, July age, four color, chestnut markings, stripe and four white stockings gender, mare height, 15 hh breed, Standardbred information, July is a retired harness racer, and has three wins to her name. She retired from the track at age three, because her trainer believed that she'd be better served as an English Pleasure horse. She went to a trainer for a year, and now does fairly well under saddle. Experienced riders only are considered, as she has a slight bucking problem, but with good training, she'll make an excellent companion and a jumper prospect. price, $2000 firm.
