Wheeling around, Shalamar quickly headed towards the fence. Determination was set in his dark eyes; he wasn't going to go through all the pain he did last time. However, she was there. The human that was ready to hike him off to another being. The stallion reared back to a stop. Crashing back to earth, his black mane flew out from behind him. He bucked, sending his golden coloured belt into the air. He struck out savagly with his pale hooves, kicking at the heavy air.
THe weather had been threatening rain for quite a while. SHalamar could sense it. Even the heavens were crying for the small Teke stallion. He turned on his muscular haunches, then tore away from the fenceline. She was watching him.
She sat next to the fence. So Shalamar did understand. She felt terrible for doing this to him, but she needed to do it. He deserved someone better. She sighed. Putting up a local newspaper ad seemed to help. The ad read:
7 yrs old Akhal stallion, Jumper Call 687-354-9083
